Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett Revisits A New Hope Location With Surprising Twist

There is little doubt that The Book of Boba Fett is filled with awesome Easter eggs that have thrilled Star Wars fans in its premiere episode alone. So it's no surprise there are bigger Easter eggs in Episode 2 as we finally got to visit a location that was made famous by A New Hope! SPOILERS AHEAD, PROCEED WITH CAUTION!

In the flashback sequence in The Book of Boba Fett Episode 2, Fett decides to help the Tusken Raiders who saved him by getting rid of a mysterious train that has been bothering their tribe regularly. To do so, the former bounty hunter acquires some speeder bikes from a group of thugs terrorizing locals in Tosche Station.

That's right, it's the same Tosche Station that Luke Skywalker mentions in A New Hope but it's not exactly the same. By the time we finally get to see the location, it's been turned into a bar where gangs hang out to harass people.

Although we didn't find any power converters in the new (and improved?) Tosche Station, we did get to see some familiar faces. The couple who is harassed by thugs is actually Camie and Fixer, Luke's old friends from Anchorhead. As it turns out, the place has changed but the same people still come here.

Tosche Station was supposed to be featured in A New Hope but the scene was ultimately deleted from the theatrical cut. The same thing could be said about Camie and Fixer, who appeared in a deleted scene that also showed Luke with Biggs Darklighter. This led to Tosche Station being part of what seemed like a throwaway line in Episode IV. Luckily, we now get to see why Luke was so eager to go there.

Visit Tosche Station in The Book of Boba Fett Episode 2, which is now streaming on Disney+.
