It's no secret that The Book of Boba Fett has divided the Star Wars fandom because of how slow-paced the series appears to be. Some even went as far as calling it "bland" and "boring" and while that may be true to some extent, the Temuera Morrison-led show is finally turning the volume up weeks ahead of its grand finale. Now, Chapter 4 is where things started to pick up, and turns out, it was just a setup for what was to come.

The latest episode of The Book of Boba Fett wasted no time and gave the fans what they truly want. The action-packed Chapter 5 finally marked the return of The Mandalorian himself, Din Djarin, played by the one and only Pedro Pascal who is back to his usual bounty hunting ways following the epic conclusion to The Mandalorian's second season.
In all honesty, the Mando-centric Episode 5 felt like another episode of The Mandalorian and I mean that in the best way possible. Not only did it bring fans some clarity regarding that major cliffhanger from The Mandalorian's 16th chapter but it also set up the famed bounty hunter's future — something that the third season will most certainly explore.

So far, the reception to Din's MandoVerse comeback has been generally positive. However, we're not quite sure whether or not Mando will stick around for the last two episodes of The Book of Boba Fett. As teased during the closing moments of Chapter 5, it looks like Mando is on his way to reunite with Grogu and my assumption is, it will take place in Season 3 of The Mandalorian. But seeing as he was offered by Fennec Shand to serve as "muscle" for Boba Fett, I wouldn't exactly rule out a finale appearance from him. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
The Book of Boba Fett's Episode 5 is now streaming exclusively on Disney+.
