Hisham Tawfiq Shares 'Joy' Working With Gbenga Akinnagbe
On Tuesday, Hisham Tawfiq, who plays the role of Dembe, wrote a “heartfelt” post for his one-time co-star, Gbenga Akinnagbe. The latter joined the cast members of The Blacklist Season 9 on its most recent episode, Boukman Baptiste, and played the titular role.
Tawfiq praised Akinnagbe for playing the role and “for bringing the heat” in the said episode. He also noted that he has “been watching” the actor’s other works for years, adding that “it was a joy and honor” working with him.
In the end, Tawfiq shared his hopes of working with Akinnagbe again in the future.

Karina Arriyave Greets James Spader With 'Sweet Tribute'
Earlier this week, another The Blacklist cast member shared an Instagram tribute to another co-star. A separate report from Express UK reported that Karina Arroyave greeted the show’s lead, James Spader, in celebration of his birthday.
On the platform, she posted a solo photo of the actor and accompanied it with a birthday greeting in the caption.
Arroyave thanked Spader for the “kindness” he has shown her. She said that working with the veteran star “has been life-changing” and both a “gift and honor.”
She concluded her post with wishes for Spader. “I wish you everything your heart desires,” as well as “peace.”

The Blacklist Season 9 Returns Soon
Season 9 has already dropped nine episodes since its return on small screens. With the Winter Olympics 2022 taking over some of the television programs in the next few weeks, several shows have taken a brief break to give way.
Reports said fans and followers may expect The Blacklist to return on NBC on February 25. The episode carries the title Arcane Wireless, although further details have yet to surface.
