There is much excitement about The Batman although we have only seen a glimpse at the upcoming DC Extended Universe flick. Luckily, we now have a closer look at one of the comic book characters who will show up in the movie. Barry Keoghan has just shared a behind-the-scenes look at his character Stanley Merkel on the set.
It was previously confirmed that Keoghan will portray Jim Gordon's partner in The Batman. However, we barely got a glimpse of the Dunkirk star in the film's teaser which was released last year.
Times have changed since then and it looks like the cast is more comfortable sharing photos of themselves working on The Batman. For instance, Keoghan decided to share a picture of himself on the set of the movie where he is wearing some interesting gear. Check it out below.
We're loving the jacket that was clearly made for the cast and crew of The Batman. Hopefully, we'll be seeing more behind-the-scenes photos from the set of the film soon.
Keoghan might be working on a DC movie but he is also joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Killing of the Sacred Deer star had been cast as Druig in Eternals, which is set to premiere in November this year.
The Batman is directed by Matt Reeves and stars Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Jayme Lawson, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell. The movie is scheduled for release in selected theaters and on HBO Max on March 4, 2022.
