The production for Matt Reeves' The Batman is well underway and multiple set photos have already been circling the net. Aside from getting a first look at Colin Farrell's Penguin, which Reeves just recently confirmed, fans were also treated with their first look at Robert Pattinson's Bruce Wayne. Needless to say, they are pretty much hyped up for the upcoming film.
Pattinson's photos got around earlier this week and although his face was covered, fans were convinced that it is indeed the actor based on his hair and his thick eyebrows. Pattinson wasn't wearing his Batman suit yet, but he was seen on a motorcycle and fans are already excited to see the hero riding the vehicle in the movie. Some people even pointed out that it is similar to Scott Snyder's Batman comics. Check out some of their reactions below:
There's not much information revealed about that particular scene in the set photos, but judging from the actor's appearance and outfit, it looks like this scene takes place before he becomes the Batman. Regardless of its indication of the film's plotline, fans are pretty much psyched to see the hero riding a motorcycle.
Aside from Pattinson and Farrell, Matt Reeves' The Batman cast also includes Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.
The Batman is slated for release on June 25, 2021.
