The Batman Production Not Expected To Begin Till 2018


Though it seemed like The Batman could finally move forward after its troubles seemingly died down with Matt Reeves finally hopping on board as the contentious DC Expanded Universe film's director, new reports indicate that fans may have to wait a lot longer than expected before they can get Ben Affleck's solo Batman movie.

Variety film reporter Justin Kroll has been taking to social media to express his thoughts regarding The Batman film project, and according to the film journalist, it may take some time for Reeves to get working on the DC movie. Check out Krolls comments below:

While a lot of fans were hoping to see The Batman production rolling, Kroll's speculation that it will take the film another year till they finally begin work is very likely. Not only is Variety a reputable source for Hollywood information, but logic dictates that Reeves being busy with the upcoming War For the Planet of the Apes production will mean that The Batman will remain at a halt till Reeves can focus his attention on the DCEU movie.
