The Batman: Next Trailer will Debut at DC FanDome 2021

The inaugural edition of the DC FanDome proved to be a major success for the comic book giant and Warner Media so it no longer comes as a surprise how they're holding the virtual spectacle for the second straight year. Much like last year's festivities, the four-hour event will be home to several surprises and announcements that will shape up the future of the DC franchise.

Turns out, WB will once again be using the opportunity to hype up the big-screen arrival of Robert Pattinson's version of Batman and on October 16th, we can expect the second official trailer for Matt Reeves' The Batman to finally be unveiled after a full year of anticipation. If you may recall, the first teaser for the 2022 project also debuted at the first DC FanDome, and to say that it broke the internet in half is an understatement.

A select group of people was able to see a three-hour cut of the film at the recently-concluded CinemaCon 2021 and if you've been keeping up-to-date with the current news, you're most likely aware that the first reactions to the film have already surfaced online.

Sure, it's still a little too early to rejoice because the project still has to go through some post-production stuff and actual approval from the studio before it hits cinemas but if WB refrains from meddling with the project, I think we've got ourselves something special here. And who knows, Pattinson just might be the definitive live-action version of the Dark Knight most fans have been longing to see. I'm beyond stoked for this film.

The Batman is scheduled to premiere on March 4, 2022.
