There is little doubt that people are expecting a lot in Ahsoka considering that the upcoming Star Wars series will somehow serve as a sequel to Star Wars Rebels. However, it looks like the new Disney+ show will also bring back villains that Ahsoka Tano recently had to deal with. A new report suggests that a character from The Mandalorian Season 2 will play an important role in the series.
Making Star Wars reports that Ahsoka will feature Morgan Elsbeth as a major character. Their sources also shared details about Elsbeth's role in the series, confirming she will be on a mission to find Grand Admiral Thrawn. This pretty much confirms that Elsbeth was telling the truth when Ahsoka confronted her in The Mandalorian Season 2.
But will Morgan Elsbeth actually succeed in locating Thrawn? The report suggests it will happen and this could mean she'll continue to be one of Ahsoka's main targets in the series.
For now, Diana Lee Inosanto's casting in Ahsoka has not yet been officially announced. Likewise, Disney and Lucasfilm have not yet confirmed whether Morgan Elsbeth will show up in the upcoming series. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Ahsoka will bring back Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano and introduce Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren. They will be joined by Hayden Christensen who reprises his role as Darth Vader in the series. New cast members also include Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger as well as Ivanna Sakhno, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Ray Stevenson in undisclosed roles. The show is expected to premiere sometime in 2023.
