Some of The Acolyte merchandise is available again on the Disney Store website following major concerns from fans online.
Earlier this week, it was announced that the High Republic-set Star Wars series has been canceled after one season. A lot of fans were upset by the shocking news and slammed Lucasfilm for their decision.
There were also concerns about the show's fate on Disney+ as fans noticed that merchandise for the series had disappeared from the Disney Store and it made them wonder whether it will remain available on the platform.
The Acolyte Merch is Back at the Disney Store
After widespread concerns from Star Wars fans online, some of the merchandise from The Acolyte has returned to the Disney Store.
Fans can purchase t-shirts and sweatshirts of the series again on the website until stocks last.
This is an indication that, despite the absence of the show's merch on the website after the cancellation news, Disney is not planning to remove it from the streaming platform anytime soon and they still recognize it as part of the Star Wars franchise.
With this update, fans should feel relief about the fate of The Acolyte and the concerns that they had for the past few days were simply overblown.
It is unknown yet whether the Disney Store will add more The Acolyte items on the website in the aftermath of the cancellation.
For now, fans have nothing to worry about as they can still rewatch the series anytime and Disney will not be "deleting" it from existence.
All episodes of The Acolyte are still available to stream on Disney+.
