Star Wars The Acolyte has had an action-packed premiere. Episode 1 shows the death of a Jedi, and Episode 2 showcases the famous Barash Vow.

While the premier episodes give fans a sneak peek of what unfolds during the High Republic era, just like how the Jedi maintain law and order, the following episodes will change Star Wars as many fans know it.

During Episode 2, a shocking revelation unfolds. It is discovered that Osha’s twin, Mae, is behind the Jedi murders.

But the most intriguing part is that the two share a dyad-like connection, yet their origin remains a tantalising mystery.

Hold on to your lightsabers because Episode 3 is about to take us on a thrilling journey. According to leaks, It will delve into a flashback, revealing the heart-wrenching story of the twins' separation and Mae's sinister plot against the Jedi stationed in Brendok.

It will also show a coven of witches who can tap into the Force and use it as a “thread,” which is pretty much akin to the “weaving the threads of fate and time” metaphor in many literature and media.

Witches have been present in the canon Star Wars lore for some time. Asajj Ventress was a Nightsister raised by witches in Dathomir, and the Nightsister Merrin in Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order was also part of the group from the same planet.

These witches from Dathomir may be similar to those in Brendok, where Osha and Mae originally came from. Episode 3 shows that these witches weaved the Force as a thread to create the twins without a biological father, similar to how Anakin conceived with midi-chlorians.

Anakin Skywalker was born to a single mother without a father. Qui-Gon discovered that the young Anakin had the highest midi-chlorian count of anyone who had ever lived, making his origin questionable to the Jedi Council at that time.

The comic Darth Vader #25 (2017) implied that Darth Sidious manipulated his conception through the Force. This is similar to what the witch coven in Brendok has done to Osha and Mae, but Darth Sidious tried to achieve this using a different process.

Being created through this process exhibits great strength in the Force and can obtain dyad-like abilities, similar to how twins communicated through both episodes.

In previous Star Wars media, Jedi were seen using the Force to interrogate, mind read, force heal, and communicate through dyads and force ghosts.

The Acolyte Episode 3 adds to that by showing that the Force can be manipulated by beings powerful and skilled enough to tap into it, enabling them to create beings like Osha, Mae, and Anakin.

Will the leaks prove to be true? Only time will tell when the episode drops next week.
