That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Film Confirmed for International Release on Crunchyroll


The anime film for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is already set to premiere in Japan this year but international fans won't have to wait very long to enjoy the movie as well. Crunchyroll has just announced that That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond will be released internationally in early 2023!

Crunchyroll shared the news confirming that That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond ("Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken: Guren no Kizuna") will be screened in all of its territories except Asia. Although the release date has not yet been announced, it was confirmed that the anime movie will premiere globally early next year.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond was announced soon after the second season concluded and is set to be an all-new story penned by Slime light novel author Fuse. The film will follow Rimuru and his companions as they head for a new country named Razha which is located to the west of Tempest. Here, the new Demon Lord and his friends will need to deal with a mysterious girl and an Ogre survivor named Hiiro who has some complicated history with Benimaru.

Eight Bit, the studio that has worked on the anime, will be producing the film which is set to bring back the original cast members.

But will That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime get a third season? For now, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 has not yet been announced. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bonds has not yet been given an official release date but will premiere in Japan in November 2022. It is then set for international release in early 2023.
