Wilmer Valderrama will reprise his That ‘70s Show role as the much-loved foreign exchange student, Fez, in the upcoming Netflix spinoff, That ‘90s Show. To hype up the series, even more, the actor shares a glimpse of his script on Instagram.

Netflix announced in 2021 that That ‘90s Show was officially in the works. Aside from Valderrama, That ‘70s Show’s original cast will also return to reprise their roles.

Wilmer Valderrama Shows That ‘90s Show Script

Valderrama shared a photo of the front page of his script for That ‘90s Show on Instagram. It also has the show’s logo, similar to that of the original series.

The actor’s name can be seen on the upper right part of the file, along with his role’s name, Fez.

“To whom it may concern… Now if I could just remember the accent,” he captioned the snap.

Fez has been known for his enigmatic accent—nobody knows which nation, locality or social class it belongs to.

In fact, his native country has become a running joke throughout the series. Every time he tries to mention its name, he will be cut off, keeping the audience hanging.

Of course, nobody can forget him as a funny and flirty student.

That ‘90s Show Cast

Valderrama is just one of the original cast members of That ‘70s Show who will be seen in That ‘90s Show.

Fans will also see Topher Grace as Eric Forman, Laura Prepon as Donna Pinciotti, Mila Kunis as Jackie Burkhart and Ashton Kutcher as Michael Kelso.

It will also feature Callie Haverda as Leia Forman, Eric and Donna’s daughter; Kurtwood Smith as grandpa Red and Debra Jo Rupp as grandma Kitty, per Collider.

Tommy Chong will also return to the series as Leo, the owner of the photo hut.

Sadly, fans will not see Lisa Robin Kelly and Danny Masterson in That ‘90s Show as Laurie and Steven Hyde. Kelly passed away in 2013, while Masterson is awaiting trial.

That ‘90s Show Plot

That ‘90s Show will focus on the daughter of Eric and Donna this time instead of the original characters.

Leia will spend her summer in Point Place with her grandpa Red and grandma Kitty.

By the looks of it, That ’70 Show’s circle of friends will be tacking the new generation of today.

Here’s what the synopsis says,

"Set in 1995, the show follows Eric and Donna’s daughter, Leia (an apt name, given Eric’s known love of Star Wars). That '90s Show catches up with the next generation of Formans, as Leia heads to Wisconsin for the summer to stay with her grandparents, Kitty and Red. Under the watchful eye of Kitty and stern glare of Red, she bonds with a new crop of Point Place kids. But as the series’ logline reads, 'Sex, drugs and rock ’n roll never dies, it just changes clothes.'"
