K-pop boy group TFN, formerly known as T1419, will continue without Sian as the member struggles with a health issue.
Before TFN’s highly anticipated comeback, the rookie boy group changed its name from T1419. The new name stands for “Try For New,” replacing “Teenager Fourteen Nineteen” of the original group name.
When it is about to mark its new beginning, TFN will, unfortunately, need to promote without one member.

TFN Sian To Go on Hiatus
On Oct. 24, E Daily shared the statement penned by TFN’s agency, MLD Entertainment, confirming Sian’s break from the group.
According to the company, Sian is currently suffering from “dizziness and headaches caused by symptoms of sensorineural hearing loss.”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention lists four types of hearing loss, which includes Sian’s condition. Sensorineural hearing loss reportedly occurs when a person’s inner ear or hearing nerve has a problem. Among its causes include illnesses, age, listening to loud music, and family history.
It remains unknown how the idol developed it.
“We believed that we needed to consider our artist’s health our top priority, so it was decided that Sian would focus on recovering his health. As a result, TFN will temporarily be promoting with eight members. As we made this decision with our artist’s health as our top priority, we ask for fans’ understanding,” the statement continued.
Sian Will Not Be Part of TFN’s Comeback
TFN will need to mark its comeback with the remaining eight members — Noa, Kevin, Gunwoo, Leo, ON, Zero, Kairi, and Kio.
The group’s upcoming new music, mini album Before Sunrise Part. 4, will be released on Oct. 26. It will be the latest album in the boy group’s Before Sunrise series and the first album after TFN changed its name.
Sian and the boy group members debuted on Jan. 11, 2021, and have since scored attention in the Latin market. They have also achieved the attention of internationally-acclaimed musicians like Maluma, Daddy Yankee, and Natti Natasha.
