Terry Crews Talks About That Deadpool 2 Twist

Warning: This article contains spoilers for Deadpool 2.

A lot of fans might have gotten excited when they heard that actor Terry Crews had been brought aboard Deadpool 2, but the sequel to 20th Century Fox's raunchy R-Rated superhero movie actually has a pretty surprising X-Force twist.

Those who've already seen the film know that most of the members of the X-Force don't last for very long in the movie – the only one who really manages to become part of the team is Domino (Zazie Beetz). Though Deadpool's mission plans lead to the death of all the X-Force members, Domino manages to survive because of the way she can manipulate her odds.

Speaking in an interview with the Business Insider, Crews opened up about his character's fate in the film, saying he had no hard feelings about Bedlam's death in Deadpool 2.

"I knew everything. We were trolling the world," Crews said. "That was the whole point. And the big thing was to keep it a secret. That was the hardest part. I didn't even tell my wife what was going to happen. My son was like, ‘What happens?' and I was like, ‘I'm not going to tell you.'"

Crews was certainly right about trolling the world. A lot of fans were expecting Bedlam to have a bigger role in the film along with the other X-Force recruits that Ryan Reynold's Merc with a Mouth managed to wrangle for his mission. Turns out that Crews and all the other X-Force members (including Bradd Pitt's the Vanisher) were nothing but glorified cameos in the movie.

Then again, Deadpool's always been a troll, so the twist shouldn't really come as a surprise to the fanbase.

Deadpool 2 is currently screening in cinemas.
