Deadpool Writers and Ryan Reynolds Teaming Up with Michael Bay for Netflix Movie

Deadpool 2 is currently blowing up in cinemas, but it looks like Ryan Reynolds already has his eyes set on a new project. Ever the hub for unique film ideas, Netflix has announced that Reynolds and the writers of Deadpool are teaming up with none other than Michael Bay to make a new action movie.

It's worth noting that besides Deadpool, Wernick and Reese have also made their mark with 2009's Zombieland—showing that the duo is indeed proficient in action comedy films.

Then again, they also worked on that terrible G.I. Joe: Retaliation movie, but the Deadpool films are still winners, so we should give them that.

For now, we still have no idea on what to expect from Six Underground, but with Michael Bay involved, I'm thinking this movie is going to be some big budget action film with some witty banter from Ryan Reynolds. It's not exactly Deadpool, but we know that Reynolds, Wernick, and Reese make some fun films together. We'll just have to wait and see what Bay brings to the table.

For now, we still don't have a release date for Six Underground, but you can always catch the collaboration of Wernick, Reese, and Reynolds in Deadpool 2 now in theaters.
