Fans were initially excited to see Terry Crews in Deadpool 2 since the actor is charismatic and funny. He would have been a perfect fit for the film if his roles in Brooklyn Nine-Nine and White Chicks mean anything. Unfortunately, his appearances in the trailers were meant to deceive fans and Crews' Bedlam ended up crashing head first into a bus.
Most fans, and Deadpool himself figured that Bedlam was dead and that would be the last we would see of him. However, there is a small glimmer of hope and we aren't talking about the post-credits time shenanigans, though that will also play a huge factor.
During an interview with SlashFilm, Crews was quick to say that his character might not have been killed at all. Bedlam was on life support, Crews argues, and there is a chance that the hero can return to either Deadpool 3 or the upcoming X-Force film. Compare that to how Shatterstar died and the actor might have a point.
"Actually if you look at the movie, I was on life support. They were trying to revive me so you didn't see me get cut up or head cut off. There's always something. I would love to come back for Deadpool 3."
Add the time travel mechanic, which saved both Vanessa and Peter in the end, and there's a good chance that all of X-Force has survived. Of course, that would also mean that none of the events in the movie happened but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
Deadpool 2 is now available on digital platforms and will get a physical release fairly soon.
