Star Wars: Temuera Morrison Wants Boba Fett to Return to His 'Badass Ways'

Earlier this year, Boba Fett finally got his own solo Star Wars project in the seven-episode series The Book of Boba Fett with Temuera Morrison reprising the role. However, it took a different direction in its story as we see him become the crime boss in Tatooine. Some fans are wondering whether we will see the character ever go back to his bounty hunter ways again.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Morrison expressed his hopes that Boba Fett will go back to his "badass" roots again with the character being in a different position now than what we used to see him in past Star Wars films and TV shows.

"We’ve got to bring him back somewhere. We’ve got to see the old Boba Fett," he said. "We reintroduced him. We found out some stuff. But I think it’s time to get him back to his badass ways. No two ways around that. So, I think we sort of have that scope to go back there, but that’s out of my control. I’ll just see what happens."

Since Boba Fett is now the main crime boss in Tatooine, it feels like we won't see him go back to his bounty hunter roots in the coming future. However, there are fans who are expressing the same sentiment and it would be interesting to see whether Lucasfilm will address it in a future project.

So far, it is unknown yet what's next for Boba Fett in the Star Wars franchise since they haven't confirmed yet whether he is set to appear in an upcoming project or whether they'll even do a second season of The Book of Boba Fett, which still remains to be a limited series at this point.

With the franchise expanding on television, there is no doubt that we will see Boba Fett at some point again in the future and it's just a matter of when and where as well as how he will be brought back to the picture again.
