Ted Lasso Season 3 is believed to be the last and final season of the series, and fans are clamoring for more. But ahead of its premiere, lead star Jason Sudeikis revealed viewers might get enough of the show once all 12 episodes dropped.

Sudeikis revealed it would indeed be the end of the sports-comedy drama. And amid fans' clamor to see more, he has the perfect answer for it.

The End of the Story

In an interview with Deadline, the show's co-creator said the third season would be the end of the story they wanted, hoped, and loved to tell.

"The fact that folks will want more and are curious beyond more than what they don't even know yet—that being season three—it's flattering," he said.

However, he's convinced viewers may change their minds after seeing the whole season.

"Maybe by May 31, once all 12 episodes of the season [have been released], they're like, 'Man, you know what, we get it, we're fine," he explained. "We don't need anymore, we got it,'" he continued. "But until that time comes, I will appreciate the curiosity beyond what we've come up with so far."

Setting the Table for Everyone

Sudeikis is well aware that people want to see more from the show's cast and is ready to give it to them.

"We've set the table for all sorts of folks… to get to watch the further telling of these stories," he continued.

"Again, I can't help but take the question as flattery for what all of us that were working on the show has tried to do," the 47-year-old added. "It's really kind of folks to even consider that because you never know what's gonna happen when you make things. The fact that people want more, even if it's a different avenue is lovely."
