Teasing Master Takagi-San Season 3: First Impressions
For any newcomers, Teasing Master Takagi-San is based on a manga of the same name. It follows two schoolchildren; Nishikata, a young boy, and his classmate and friend, Takagi, who teases him endlessly. Due to how well she knows him, she can always predict his behavior, not leaving him room to come back at her.
Yet, Nishikata follows that one day, he'll give his friend a taste of her own medicine and finally make her blush. While this might sound like a weird premise to the uninitiated, Takagi-san is actually quite wholesome and innocent, and it has been commended for its relatively realistic depiction of childhood.
Season 3 offers more of the same fun premise. You will have noticed, however, that the dynamic between the two characters is slowly shifting. Nishikata has dreams of Season 2 shenanigans, partly to remind us, and the dream sequence is adorable.
The two characters have come to care about each other in an innocent, but increasingly romantic way, with Takagi dreaming that Nishikata confesses to her.
The highly anticipated third season proves to be lighthearted and cute as always.
