Come 2006, he received his breakthrough when he became a part of Friday Night Lights. He played the high school footballer, helping the series become critically acclaimed.

His next project was True Detective. He continued to appear on the big screen with the movies American Assassin, Only the Brave, and 21 Bridges.

Taylor Kitsch is open to doing and accepting any roles and offers as long as it will pay him “cold, hard cash. “
In an interview with Esquire, he said he didn’t mind doing parent roles as it would also be great for his career.
“You shut down and start doing s*** for money,” he said.
So, would he also be willing to do Ice Age 12? “Oh, I’ll do voice-over s***,” he responded. “But do I want to do Saw 9-14? Probably not.”

He also quipped that he was for sale.
“If they want to give me $10 million a movie, I’ll go do Saw f****** 9-14,” he continued. “I just wanted to sound like I’m not that cheap.”
However, though he seems to have done it all, from transforming into a NAVY SEAK for Lone Survivor to becoming the cult leader David Koresh in Waco, it looks like doing Ice Age 12 is far from happening.
