Taron Egerton Teases Wolverine Casting by Confirming Kevin Feige Meeting

Wolverine is the one X-Men character that people are hoping will eventually make an appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After all, people are still hoping Hugh Jackman will return to play the mutant in the MCU. But is it possible that Marvel Studios already have another actor in mind? Taron Egerton has somehow teased on the possibility he's being considered for the role by revealing he has met with Kevin Feige!

It's no secret that Taron Egerton has been one of the fan-favorites to take over the role of Wolverine in the MCU. However, the Black Bird star has repeatedly denied the casting although he admits being flattered by the suggestion.

So is it possible that things have changed for Taron Egerton? The Rocketman actor has just confirmed with Comicbook.com that he would "love to" play Wolverine. The outlet also purports that Egerton had admitted to meeting with some Marvel Studios executives and that the meeting included Kevin Feige.

It's an interesting confirmation and one that has people hyped up. As the outlet notes, Egerton appears to be bulking up in the past few months and it is believed he might be preparing for a specific role. However, the casting has not yet been confirmed so it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

This isn't the first time that Taron Egerton has spoken up about the Wolverine fan casting. Earlier this year, there were speculations that he would play the mutant in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Before that, he was repeatedly asked if there was any chance he would take over the role for Hugh Jackman.

For now, it's still unclear if Taron Egerton will eventually be chosen to take over as Wolverine. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
