The Tales of Wedding Rings manga has been serialized since 2014, though it seems that its end is in sight. That’s because the Tales of Wedding Rings manga’s creators are hoping to end the series by Volume 15.

This was revealed by the two creators in the manga’s recent volume release. There, the manga creator duo shared the plans, though this is not a confirmation of the series’ ending.

Fans who keep up with the manga won’t be surprised though, given that the series entered its final arc over two years ago now.

Tales of Wedding Rings is a romantic fantasy manga by the creator duo Maybe. It began serialization in 2014 in Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan, the same magazine as titles like Goblin Slayer and The Apothecary Diaries.

As the series has a monthly release schedule, it’s no surprise that it has been ongoing for the better part of a decade now. That might end soon though, as the manga’s creators are hoping to conclude the series with the next volume.

In Volume 14, which was released in Japan on Christmas Day, the creator duo shared that they hope to end Tales of Wedding Rings in Volume 15, meaning there might be only a couple of chapters remaining.

Of course, this doesn’t officially confirm the series’ ending. After all, many manga creators have hoped to finish their works without doing so, as is the case with Jujutsu Kaisen’s Gege Akutami, for instance.

In the meantime, fans can at least look forward to the upcoming anime adaptation that’s finally premiering soon.

It may have taken a while, but the manga is finally getting an anime. This adaptation is produced by Staple Entertainment, and it features lots of big-name VAs.

For starters, the protagonist is voiced by Gen Sato, the VA of Chrome in Dr. Stone. Meanwhile, the main heroine is voiced by Akari Kito whom fans may know as Nezuko from Demon Slayer.

Other VAs include Ai Kakuma (Eris in Mushoku Tensei), Mikako Komatsu (Maki Zenin in Jujutsu Kaisen), and Miyuri Shimabukuro (Carole in Carole & Tuesday).

The Tales of Wedding Rings anime will premiere in Japan on January 6, 2024. Meanwhile, fans in the US and other select regions can watch the anime on Crunchyroll.
