Taiso Otome Fairy Tale tells the story of 17-year-old Shima Takahiko, the youngest son of a powerful family, who grew up without much affection. When he gets involved in an accident that kills his mother and permanently cripples his dominant arm, Takahiko's father banishes him to an isolated countryside residence.

There, Takahiko, who is suffering from depression, believes that he will die alone. To his surprise, a 14-year-old girl, Tachibana Yuzuki, appears at the door and proclaims that Takahiko's father sent her to be his future bride.

Tamako has mellowed significantly, getting along with Yuzu perfectly. The girls' home life with Tamahiko has thus fallen into a comfortable routine. This, however, changes when Yuzu falls ill.

The more outgoing Tamako runs to fetch the doctor, who is able to help quickly. However, the visit ends in a bitter tone, as the doctor taunts Tamahiko. The doctor found Yuzu severely overworked and calls out Tamahiko for letting her labor so hard. He also accuses Tamaho, for abusing the help of the villagers when she first arrived.

Tamahiko seriously considers the doctor's words and concludes that Yuzuki would be better off without him. Even Tamako believes that Yuzu would be better off with someone else, but Yuzu herself remains devoted to Tamahiko. Although his attempts to take care of her weren't exactly successful, Yuzu is certain of his good intentions and perhaps a little in love. Therefore, she resolves to stay with him, believing they'll be happy together.

By the end of the episode, Yuzuki makes a full recovery. Amidst everyone's joy, Tamako surprises everyone, announcing that she'll go back to school to become a doctor.
