Taisho Otome Fairy Tale Episode 11 Recap

Taiso Otome Fairy Tale is based on a manga of the same name. It tells the story of 17-year-old Shima Takahiko, the youngest son of a powerful family, who grew up without much affection. When he gets involved in an accident that kills his mother and permanently cripples his dominant arm, Takahiko's father banishes him to an isolated countryside residence.

There, Takahiko, who is suffering from depression, believes that he will die alone. To his surprise, a 14-year-old girl, Tachibana Yuzuki, appears at the door and proclaims that Takahiko's father sent her to be his future bride.

Warning: Episode 11 Spoilers below!

Tamahiko sets out for Tokyo to find Yuzuki and bring her home. Before going, he offers his home to his fellow villagers, as it's quite sturdy and will help some of the sick and wounded. Ryo persuades him to let her accompany him as she's also worried about her brother.

In Tokyo, Tamahiko finds his sister, Tamako, and their uncle, who is helping look after the sick. While Tamahiko's uncle believes it is all but impossible to find a single person in the ruins of Tokyo, he's pleasantly surprised to see his nephew so determined.

Tamahiko encounters Midori, Yuzuki's friend, and finds out that they got separated. He then meets Kotori and her brother, who sing around Tokyo to lift people's spirits and alert wandering survivors as to shelter locations. Eventually, he comes across two children who initially try to rob him, due to their hunger. Tamahiko finds out that the children were taken care of by a girl, whom he understands to be Yuzuki. He finds her in a building nearby, wounded but alive, and carries her to a shelter.
