Taisho Otome Fairy Tale: What Is It About?
Taiso Otome Fairy Tale is a historical romance unfolding in the early 1920s, the middle of Japan's Taiso period. The main character Shima Takahiko is the youngest son of a powerful family, who grew up knowing he had a bright future ahead, and lacked for nothing, except, perhaps, for family warmth and affection.
When his mother dies, and an accident causes him to cripple his dominant arm, Takahiko's father banishes him to an isolated countryside residence. Takahiko comes to terms with the facts that he will die alone there, until a young girl, Tachibana Yuzuki, appears at the doors and proclaims that Takahiko's father sent her to be his bride.
Tamahiko and Yuzuki gradually fall in love, making this a cute, slice-of-life anime. Please, writing gods, let Yuzuki be something more than a manic pixie dream girl only there to heal the main character though!
