Taika Waititi Reunites With Jeff Goldblum And What We Do In The Shadows Co-Star

Taika Waititi is certainly on a roll. The Thor: Ragnarok director was recently reported to be meeting with Marvel Studios on a possible new Phase 4 film. Now, Waititi is hanging out with the Grandmaster himself and Anton the Alpha Werewolf.

Waititi recently posted an awesome photo on his official Twitter account. The image shows the Jojo Rabbit director with Ragnarok star Jeff Goldblum and What We Do in the Shadows actor Rhys Darby. Waititi called the reunion the "Taikaholics Anonymous annual meeting" and gave it a rating of "Ten Goldblums out of a possible ten Goldblums." Take a look at the amazing picture below.

It's certainly great to see Darby once again. The Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle comedian was initially expected to play a large role in the What We Do in the Shadows spin-off series which was originally titled We're Wolves. However, Wellington Paranormal followed the lives of the two police officers who appeared in the film and there is only one episode where werewolves were featured.

So why has Waititi reunited with Goldblum and Darby? It's possible that it might have something to do with the director's secret meeting with Marvel. There have been speculations that Waititi has been called in to possibly direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which could feature an appearance from the Grandmaster. Perhaps Darby will show up as an interesting character.

There are no confirmations from Disney or Marvel just yet. Hopefully, Waititi will give us an update on this in the near future.
