Suzy is officially back to TV screens with her upcoming K-drama, Anna, years after the success of Start-Up.
As the Nation’s First Love, Suzy has been catching people’s hearts in different industries – music, film, and TV.
The idol-turned actress is set to appear in the upcoming sci-fi film, Wonderland. She also appeared in PSY’s music video for his hit song Celeb months after marking her comeback with Satellite and collaboration with Kang Seung Won.
As for her TV career, the former Miss A member will appear in a new K-drama this month.

Suzy Looks Classy, Matured in New Stills For Anna
Anna is a 2022 Coupang Play K-drama featuring Suzy. It explores the life of Yoo Mi who ends up living someone else’s life after telling a small lie.
The drama shared new photos of the actress taken in four different years in the series. The first one features the actress as a high school student looking at several stilettos. The other two show her working hard in different industries.

The last one surely made people drop their jaws as she looks simple but stunning as she holds a glass of wine.
According to Suzy, her character undergoes tensions in her life from her teenage years to her late 30s.
“[I portrayed] a unique character that is not easy to come across as an actress. I will show a new side to me through ‘Anna’ since the drama’s distinct feature is that the characters’ changing emotions will stand out amidst a situation that continuously changes with the passage of time,” she hinted.
Anna Release Date + Production Members
Suzy’s fans can finally see the actress act again in the upcoming drama, Anna.
The series is written and helmed by director Lee Joo Young, the filmmaker behind the hit A Single Rider. Meanwhile, camera director Lee Eui Tae and editing director Kim Jung Hoon also came together to work with the director.
The latter production member famously won awards at the 42nd Blue Dragon Film Awards.
Anna episode 1 will be released on June 24 at 8:00 p.m. KST. It will air new episodes every Friday through Coupang Play.
