Suzy’s agency, Management Soop, announced the release of Suzy’s new self-composed digital single, “Cape.”

It will be the Start-Up star’s first digital single after the release of “Satellite” in February. The studio described the new track as a “folk song with a dreamy, sentimental melody.”

Suzy Talks About ‘Satellite’

Meanwhile, Suzy discussed her first digital single released this year, “Satellite,” when she graced the cover of Marie Claire magazine.

“It was a process of finding out what I like,” she said about the song via Soompi.

Lee Min Ho’s ex-girlfriend co-wrote the track’s lyrics, which expressed someone’s unchanging feelings to stay close while longing for something that couldn’t be reached.

“In this song, I wanted to capture the atmosphere rather than delivering intentions or messages clearly and plainly,” she explained. “Thinking about the attributes of a ‘satellite,’ I wrote about things that couldn’t be reached and were wandering around.”

Alternatively, Suzy revealed she loved Street Woman Fighter, whose dancer, Monika, featured a dance performance in the “Satellite” music video.

“I liked ‘Street Woman Fighter,’ but when I saw Monika’s dance, I felt that she was a ‘muse,’” she stated. “It’s hard to fill an entire song with spontaneous dance, but she always showed different moves that it was hard to choose which clips [to include in the video]. It was the best way to express this song.”
