Superman Returns in New Justice League Concept Art

Justice League may be a team ensemble, but it's hard to take in a team movie that doesn't have the Man of Steel somewhere in the storyline.

While we all know that Superman is bound to come back even after that death scene care of Doomsday, the recent trailers that still saw his absence have fans wondering just how the Son of Krypton will return to the movie.

Now concept artworks are no definitive ways of sealing a deal like this. But a new sighing over at CinemaCon has brought a ray of hope.

Seen in the tweet below, it's the epic team pose featuring the five heroes, Cyborg, Flash, Wonder Woman, Batman, and Aquaman. Behind all of them is Superman, looking very much part of the team. It should be noted that the concept art looks very similar with the design of each of the characters, so Superman may not be an exception.

Frankly, I feel that Green Lantern is an integral part of the league, so him being left out from this lineup is a bit of a miss for me. As someone who has followed some of the animated series, even the inclusion of Hawkgirl would have been nice, though we all know that story and world building for DC may already be a feat in itself, given its timelines.

For now, this concept art and more can be viewed at a French gallery exhibit at the Art Ludique museum. Wonder Woman also has her own concept art sneak peeks. The two artworks are very cool and very close to what we've seen in the trailers thus far.
