Superman: Man of Tomorrow Animated Movie Releases First Image and Reveals Impressive Voice Cast

While Justice League Dark: Apokolips War is going to end the current DC Animated Universe, the company will still be releasing more self-contained movies like Superman: Man of Tomorrow. After wondering about the movie, DC has finally released the first image from this animated film and it has a much better art style than the movies that came from Justice League: War so we'll take it.

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we can see that the movie has a more refined art style when compared to the previous movies. Yeah, they didn't look awful but this just looks a lot better, though we'll have to wait until a trailer comes out to see what Man of Tomorrow looks like in motion. Remember how ugly The Killing Joke was? Yeesh.

DC also managed to get an impressive cast, with Hollywood star Darren Criss voicing Clark Kent a.k.a. Superman, while Star Trek's Zachary Quinto is going to be Lex Luthor, which is fitting when you consider how he was a villain in ABC's Heroes. Other notable names include Alexandra Daddario as Lois Lane and your eternal crush, Ryan Hurst as Lobo, and Brett Dalton as Parasite.

Superman: Man of Tomorrow will detail the story of a younger Clark Kent who is still an intern for The Daily Bugle, as he tries to find a way to properly save Metropolis. Naturally, some big supervillains come and Superman is forced to settle his problems with some punches.

Fans will be able to pick up Superman: Man of Tomorrow this summer on Blu-Ray and digital stores.
