There’s a new threat coming to Superman & Lois Season 3. Chad L. Coleman joins the show’s new season to play the role of the new season antagonist and warns fans of the evilness of his villainous role.

Coleman will be seen as Bruno Mannheim in Superman & Lois Season 3. Knowing this character is a supervillain, The Walking Dead and The Orville star revealed fans are about to see a “layered” big bad who’s about to feature a “thrill ride.”

In an interview with Fox 5 Atlanta, the actor revealed he had several good credits to his name, but this role is the best he had ever had.

"The scale of this guy. Honestly, the scale of this man is incredible. He's not to be messed with,” he warned.

“This is gonna be a thrill ride. Love him, hate him, but it's not the typical villain,” he continued. “He's very layered. And you root for this man because he makes a lot of sense, and he's done a lot of amazing things to transform South Metropolis, and so you just get to take this thrill ride."

The previous season set up the coming of Mannheim. John Henry Irons (Wole Parks) met Joh Diggle (David Ramsey) at Smallville’s diner after interacting with ARGUS.

Diggle confronted Henry about Mannheim, whom the latter believed had something to do with his Earth version’s death.

Other Superman & Lois Season 3 Details

Meanwhile, Warner Bros. dropped the first look at Superman & Lois Season 3, starting with the new Jonathan Kent actor, Michael Bishop.

Jordan Elsass surprised everyone when he announced his decision to leave the show after two seasons earlier this year.

Sources revealed that his departure had nothing to do with any on-set issues but due to some personal reasons.

In an official statement, Elsass revealed his decision was based on the need to focus on his mental health this time.

Later, The CW started to look for a new star who would reprise Jonathan’s role, Clark Kent’s (Tyler Hoechlin) son.

Bishop was then seen in the on-set photos, having a heart-to-heart talk outdoors with Jordan (Alex Garfin). In another snap, Clark and Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) are seen having a relaxing time together.

Superman & Lois Season 3 will be out in March.
