Superman & Lois has been in hiatus for almost two months due to COVID-19 and post-production delays resulting for the series to take on an earlier break this season. To freshen up your memories of the first five episodes it released, great news as all those will be up on HBO Max for three weeks before the release of its comeback in Episode 6.
It's a challenge enough to produce a quality series in the midst of a pandemic, a challenge Superman & Lois was able to hurdle at the start only to face some problems in between the run of the series. The Arrowverse's Superman & Lois has received positive reviews from the moment it graced the screens to before its pause by the end of March.
Airing on The CW's cable channel and its app and website, Superman & Lois also has a livestream of Superman & Lois for those with an active subscription on Hulu+ Live TV, YouTubeTV, and AT&T TV Now where all these platforms have the shows of The CW in their TV channel bundles.
This time, it added another streaming platform online as HBO Max joins the party before the release of the sixth episode on May 18, 2021. This gives Superman & Lois another platform for a wider reach of their audience and it also opens the possibility that the series will follow the footsteps of The CW series like Batman and All American, and have the whole series turn up on HBO Max by the end of the season.
Superman & Lois follows Clark Kent/ Superman and his wife, Lois Lane, in one of the greatest challenges they would be facing as a couple: being parents to Jonathan and Jordan in their teen years, while dealing with villains around Smallville as they return to where Clark was first found and build a new life there.
Superman & Lois is now available on HBO Max until May 17, 2021, a day before the series returns to The CW at 9 p.m. ET/PT on May 18, 2021.
