Super Junior’s Heechul is now in the middle of a huge backlash after his comments on WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon and Kim Jin Woo’s dancing doesn’t sit well with fans. The actor compared the two to broadcast jockeys on Panda TV while doing the “Cocaine Dance” dance challenge.

The three appeared in an episode of the Studio HOOK YouTube series, Street Alcohol Fighter, on Thursday, March 17. Here, Heechul’s comment caused a stir and many called out the K-pop idol for what he said.

Heechul’s Uncalled for Comment

It all started when the three met up for the said YouTube series. They chatted over drinks and played party games while talking about anything under the sun, per AllKpop.

As many enjoyed watching this episode, Studio HOOK posted a behind-the-scenes clip that resulted in a controversy. Kang Seung Yoon and Kim Jin Woo were asked to do the trending “Cocaine Dance” dance challenge.

So when the song came on, the two gladly accepted the challenge and started dancing. Heechul then walked in and said, “Are you guys going on Panda TV now?”

As many were surprised by Heechul’s comment, it looked like they didn’t like what he said.

"Don't reference such a remote platform with sensitive content when there are viewers of all ages watching this,” one fan commented.

"That comment was uncalled for and disrespectful to WINNER,” another said. "Panda TV is on a very different level from the more popular streaming sites like Afreeca TV...This just shows that Heechul goes on Panda TV,” a different fan added.
