Suicide Squad Could Feature This Batman v Superman Villain

It seems that more and more "spoilers" are being revealed due to this year's Toy Fair. First, we get a glimpse of a possible new villain for the Ghostbusters reboot, now another villain is being teased, and this time it's for the DC Extended Universe's Suicide Squad.

Movie Pilot caught a Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice character at the toy fair which could mean a surprising possibility for Suicide Squad.

See it below:

Do you recognize it? It's Lex Luthor in an orange jumpsuit and chains.

What does this mean? We might be seeing the sinister villain behind bars before BvS ends, which could imply that he will be another anti-hero in Suicide Squad. While it wasn't actually shown in any of the film's trailers we've seen so far, the creators might be saving this surprise for audiences of the film.

If Lex isn't part of Amanda Waller's Task Force X, then he could be the real "villain" in the film. Nonetheless, the crossover would be too big a miss for DCEU, since it would prove the two films having parallel timelines.

I know it's hard to rely on toy fairs for these things, but it's just too exciting not to think Lex and the Joker going head to head.

The Suicide Squad all-star ensemble cast includes Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jared Leto (The Joker), Jai Courtney (Boomerang), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Karen Fukuhara (Katana) Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), and Jay Hernandez (El Diablo).

The film is slated for release on August 5.
