As filming for Succession Season 4 begins, the first story details have been disclosed.
The HBO original series premiered in 2018 and follows the Roy family, owners of the media firm Waystar Royco. As family patriarch Logan's health begins to deteriorate, his four children begin trying to take controlling sections of the business.
Succession Season 4 Plot Details
HBO has confirmed that filming on Succession Season 4 has started. Additionally, the network handed up the first narrative details for the next episodes while confirming that the entire major ensemble will be back. The synopsis reads:

It is unclear exactly when viewers might anticipate seeing Succession Season 4 on their televisions, but it will have 10 episodes.
What Happened in Succession Season 3
In the dramatic finale of Succession Season 3, Logan once more overpowered the siblings Kendall, Shiv, and Roman. What's worse, Shiv's husband Tom was the one who committed the treachery, which will make Succession Season 4 even more divisive.
The family drama had a hugely successful debut, garnering 23 Emmy nominations, 9 wins, and Outstanding Drama Series in just its first two seasons.
Succession Season 4 Release Date
The Roys have fought for power inside Waystar Royco over the last three seasons, but Succession Season 4 will explore what happens when that influence is taken away totally.
However, following the dramatic conclusion of Season 3, it will be interesting to see what the Waystar Royco sale implies for the Roy family.
With filming having only recently begun, it appears that Succession will not return until sometime in 2023.
