The Bear stars Jeremy Allen White as Carmy, a gifted chef who used to work at the best restaurant on the planet before returning to Chicago to take over his family's sandwich shop after his brother's death.

Is The Bear Season 2 Happening?

The Bear's Season 2 renewal hasn't been officially announced by FX or Hulu. One reason for such an announcement to happen eventually is the series' overwhelmingly good reviews. Another factor that FX and Hulu will consider when deciding whether or not to create The Bear Season 2 is how many people watched the first season.

The Bear Season 2 Plot

In the finale, there is a clear hint of what The Bear Season 2's story will be. Carmy discovers his brother had money stashed in tomato cans, flooding the business with cash - more than enough to settle Uncle Jimmy (Chicago Med's Oliver Platt). As a result, Carmy decides to close The Original Beef. On the closing sign, he notes a rebranding, with the restaurant's name changing to The Bear.

The Bear Season 2 will most likely focus on the opening of this new restaurant and how Carmy, Richie, and Sydney improve on The Original Beef.

The Bear Season 2 Cast

The majority of the cast and characters should return for The Bear season 2 if it happens. Sydney and Marcus may have been left out of the next plot in the first season, but that situation altered towards the conclusion.

The Bear Season 2 will once again include Jeremy Allen White as Carmy as well as Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Abby Elliott, Liza Colón-Zayas, and other familiar faces.

The Bear Season 2 Release Date

It is unknown when The Bear Season 2 will be released if it is made. In theory, the second season would not take long to film because the small sets and cast would allow Christopher Storer to rapidly turn around the next part of the plot.

However, it is unknown whether any scripts for The Bear Season 2 have been completed. The earliest viewers will be able to witness Carmy's journey continue is in 2023.
