Just after the successful release of Stranger Things Season 4, the star who plays Will Byers, Noah Schnapp is back in the headlines along with Doja Cat who called out the young actor for leaking their DMs on Instagram Live yesterday.
The trouble in Hawkins started with Will Byers in Stranger Things and now, the actor who plays the character is in hot waters after leaking the conversation he had on TikTok with Doja Cat about the rapper asking for Schnapp's assistance to connect her to Joseph Quinn who plays Eddie Munson in the series.
In a now deleted video on Schnapp's TikTok, Doja Cat's question to the young actor, "Noah, can you tell Joseph to hit me up?," and Schnapp answered, "Wait, no, does he have a girlfriend? LMAOOO, slide into his DMs."
In a report from CNN, Doja Cat went to Instagram Live as regards the issue where she showed her disappointment on the young actor's decision to leak their conversation on TikTok without her permission. On Twitter, @PopCrave was able to save a video of Doja Cat's Instagram Live.
Doja Cat had some spicy words directed to Noah Schnapp, "The fact that Noah did that is so unbelievably socially unaware and wack. That’s like borderline snake s***… that’s like weasel s***.”
Doja Cat said, "I made an assumption that he was gonna be chill about it and he went and shared information that I didn't feel comfortable with him sharing." She added, "When you're that young, you make mistakes."
Noah Schnapp is yet to release a statement regarding the issue.
Stranger Things brought Joseph Quinn to the spotlight as he played the role of Eddie Munson, a newcomer in the series, who got involved in the story because Chrissy, the head cheerleader of Hawkins High, died in his trailer and the whole town blamed him for it when all along, it was Vecna.
Quinn's Eddie Munson easily became a fan-favorite because of his eccentric character but unfortunately, he didn't make it until the end as he finally got tired of running away instead of facing the problem head-on. It would be no surprise if a known celebrity like Doja Cat would ask for him.
Doja Cat is known for her songs "Mooo!," "Say So," "Kiss Me More," "Need to Know," "Woman," and more. Her popularity increased through social media especially in TikTok.
