Finn Wolfhard will be taking a break from running away from the Mind Flayer to take on some ghosts. The Stranger Things star has just been spotted with the rest of the cast of Ghostbuster 2020 in an awesome photo.
The image was actually shared by Ghostbusters 2020 director Jason Reitman. Check it out below.
Reitman's caption certainly seems fitting considering that Carrie Coon will be playing the mother of Wolfhard and McKenna Grace's character. In addition to that, the picture features the director's father Ivan Reitman, who had helmed the first two Ghostbusters movies. The upcoming film will serve as a direct sequel to the older Reitman's movies.
The premise of Ghostbusters 2020 is still a mystery but fans can expect plenty of star power in the highly anticipated film. It was previously confirmed that Avengers: Endgame star Paul Rudd will be joining the cast along with Logan Kim and Celeste O'Connor. However, their roles have not yet been revealed.
But what are the chances that the original cast will be showing up in Ghostbusters 2020? Sigourney Weaver has previously teased on her return and suggested that Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Ernie Hudson will show up in the film as well. However, Reitman has not yet confirmed the news although he did admit that he had sent them copies of the screenplay.
Ghostbusters 2020 is currently being filmed in Canada. The movie is scheduled for release on July 10, 2020.
