Stranger Things Season 4 has finally resumed production which means there are new photos of the cast while they are working on the set. For now, we have yet to see David Harbour's Hopper or Millie Bobby Brown's Eleven but the first look at Nancy, Dustin, and Max is very surprising.

The set photos have been shared on Instagram and they confirm that the series will get a major time jump next year. Check it out below.

The images show Natalia Dyer's Nancy with a more mature look while Gaten Matarazzo's Dustin and Sadie Sink's Max appear to be in high school. This means that the kids are finally getting out of middle school and finally becoming highschoolers. In addition to that, some fans are wondering why Dustin and Max are hanging out and what it could mean for her relationship with Lucas.

The time jump is an interesting one considering that the young cast is growing fast and the writers may have decided that it's time to move the story forward. On the other hand, this could mean that Hopper would have been away from Hawkins for a long time. Hopefully, he will be able to escape Russia and head back home in the fourth season.

Stranger Things Season 4 is currently in production after a lengthy delay due to COVID-19. However, the new season has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
