We're all hyped up for Stranger Things Season 4 considering that the new season has been delayed for a very long time. Luckily, we're getting more updates on the series as the premiere draws closer. The latest one reveals a new character who will be introduced in the fourth season and it just happens to be a Game of Thrones actor who will play the leader of the Hellfire Club!
It has already been confirmed that Stranger Things Season 4 will introduce the Hellfire Club, a group of new characters who will play an important role in the series. After all, the group's name serves as the title of the premiere episode. Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we now have our first look at a member of the club and he is played by Game of Thrones actor Joseph Quinn. Check it out here.
The outlet also confirms that the character is named Eddie Munson, a metalhead with a fabulous mullet. He is also the leader of the Hellfire Club which is actually Hawkins High's diehard Dungeons & Dragons crew which includes Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard) and Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo). In the image, it looks like Eddie is in the middle of a D&D session where he is DMing.
It's great to finally know what the Hellfire Club is after several months of speculations about the group. However, there are now more questions to ponder, like why Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin) isn't a part of the club. Hopefully, we'll get the answers very soon.
Stranger Things Season 4 was initially expected to return to Netflix last year but production on the fourth season was delayed due to COVID-19 in 2020. The show managed to finish filming by 2021 and is set to return on the streaming service on May 27, 2022.
