Stranger Things Season 4: Duffer Brothers Tease on How Netflix Series Will End

It seems like the world is currently waiting for Stranger Things Season 4 in hopes to find out what will happen to everyone after the events in the third season finale. But have you ever wondered how it will all end? The Duffer Brothers have just confirmed that they have already planned the show's conclusion. In fact, the creators of the Netflix series have known how it will conclude for some time now.

Matt and Ross Duffer recently spoke to Deadline about the fourth season of Stranger Things and they confirmed that each season is written to end in a certain way.

"We like to look at each season as kind of its own complete story. We do have a pretty large mythology," Matt said. "I think when we were developing Season 1 — and to Netflix's credit, they sort of pressured us to make sure we had this mythology really hammered out — we had like a 25-page sort of Stranger Things mythology that only maybe a small handful of people have seen. So season by season, we're kind of turning the page and revealing a little bit more and more."

So does this mean that the Duffers have already figured out how it's all going to end? Not surprisingly, Matt didn't even bother to play coy about the show's conclusion.

"We do have a general sense of where we're going," he said. "We've known the ending of the show for quite a while."

We're getting mixed feelings about this considering that we hope that the show will last for several seasons. On the other hand, it looks like the Duffers don't want to make the series drag on much longer than necessary. Either way, it's good to know that the creators have their goals set for the show.

Stranger Things Season 4 has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
