Stranger Things Season 2 Gets A New Photo And New Trailer Scheduled For Superbowl


Finally. Netflix is getting ready to air a new teaser trailer for the highly anticipated second season of the award-winning ode-to-the-80's science fiction series, Stranger Things.

There's a lot of excitement surrounding the National Football League's (NFL) Super Bowl this Sunday, not just because football fans are going to get to see the New England Patriots battle it out with the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL's championship game, but also because big studios will be airing trailers for this year's biggest film and TV shows before and during the game.

According to a report by Entertainment Weekly, Netflix is one of the networks debuting a new trailer at tomorrow's game, and it looks like the new clip's all going to be about the second season of Stranger Things. Taking place in 1984, executive producer Shawn Levy teases a few details about the upcoming season saying that "the Demogorgon was destroyed but evil wasn't."

Based on everything in the new Stranger Things season 2 update, it looks like the Upside Down is coming back to haunt us this year, and Gaten Matarazzo's Dustin, Finn Wolfhard's Mike, Caleb McLaughlin's Lucas are going to have to go battling monsters again.

Stranger Things season 2 premieres sometime in 2017.
