Stranger Things just celebrated their third anniversary yesterday, and the official page on Twitter has decided to share these neat photos of the cast from the very first season.

It's kind of interesting when you put the show into perspective. Though the core personalities of the characters are all still there, a lot has still changed in the span of three years. Heck, Steve was one of the villains of the first season, but now he's an all-time fan favorite.
For now, Stranger Things has just gotten off an amazing third season. Whereas Season 2 kind of had a lot of fat to trim (The Lost Sister, particularly), the third season gave us a solid, compact story, with almost all the loose ends tied up in the end.
If you ask me, they could actually end the entire show with Season 3, what with Hopper now gone, but that after-credits scene does kind of beg some further exploration.
If anything, I'm fine with Stranger Things ending in one or two more seasons. The show has been amazing, but you can only go so far before the showrunners are out of ideas. Unlike Game of Thrones though, they don't really have any story to live up to, so the Duffer Brothers can just write the characters organically and give them endings that would feel natural.
I mean, if Breaking Bad can have a satisfying finale, then Stranger Things can definitely pull it off.
