Stranger Things: Joe Quinn Addresses Eddie Munson Possible Romance

If there's one thing that people are unhappy about with Stranger Things Season 4, it's the fact that Eddie Munson and Chrissy Cunningham didn't get to be together. But is there still a chance for Eddie to find love? Joe Quinn has just addressed the possibility of Eddie finding romance in the future.

Joe Quinn recently sat down for an interview with Netflix where he was asked about the potential romance between Eddie and Chrissy, thanks to the charming meeting the two had in the woods in the first episode of Stranger Things Season 4. Not surprisingly, Quinn agreed that it would have been great to see the two together if Chrissy does decide to dump Jason.

"Eddie would have to step on Jason's shoes pretty intensely," Quinn said. "It would be lovely if there was a world in which [they could] be a pretty uncouth couple at Hawkins High that I think might shake things up a little bit."

He then added, "I really loved the scene that I got to do with Grace Van Dien in the woods in Episode 1."

It's not a huge surprise that Quinn himself enjoyed that scene. It was a truly sweet moment between two characters who seemed to just hit it off right away and would have made for an interesting couple. Sadly, that's something we'll never see considering that Chrissy was immediately killed off in the first season while Eddie died a hero in the final episode.

But what are the chances that Eddie will be back in Stranger Things Season 5? It seems unlikely considering that he was already killed off. Still, that hasn't stopped fans from starting a petition begging for Eddie's return in the fifth and final season.

Stranger Things Season 5 has not yet been given an official release date.
