Stranger Things: Duffer Brothers Hype up Final Season Ahead of Season 4 Finale

We're still waiting for the last two episodes of Stranger Things Season 4 but it looks like the Duffer brothers are already looking forward to the final season. Ross and Matt Duffer are teasing how the fourth season's Volume 2 will prepare fans for what will happen in Season 5!

The first seven episodes of Stranger Things Season 4 had viewers completely stunned as it was revealed who Vecna truly is and how he is connected to Eleven. At this point, nobody knows what will happen in the final two episodes but the Duffer brothers assure fans that it will all make sense and set things up for the show's final season.

Ross and Matt Duffer recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly where they were asked if Vecna will still be the main villain in Stranger Things Season 5.

"I don't want to spoil anything," Matt said. "But I will say, I think when fans reach the end of Season 4, they'll see more clearly than perhaps with previous seasons, where Season 5 is headed. But again, there's some big reveals still to come."

It's an exciting tease considering that people have high expectations of the last episodes of Season 4. Needless to say, we can't wait to see how the fourth season will conclude this July.

The Duffer brothers also hyped up a scene where Joe Quinn's Eddie Munson plays with his guitar in the Upside Down. The showrunners somehow teased on the sequence, revealing that the actor "spent many, many, many, many hours perfecting it."

"I won't say what song it is, but I think people are gonna be excited when they hear it," Ross said.

The first seven episodes of Stranger Things Season 4 are now streaming on Disney+. The last two episodes of the fourth season will premiere on July 1, 2022.
