Stranger Things: David Harbour Teases Jim Hopper's Older Brother

Though it seems that we know a lot about the characters in Stranger Things, there seems to be some mystery left for us to delve into when it comes to future seasons. For one, we had no idea that Jim Hopper actually has an older brother named Hank, and we could be meeting him in a future season.

When asked about Hopper's "long lost brother," actor David Harbour replied:

This comment followed the suggestion that Mark Ruffalo join the show after he posted a picture of himself hanging out with the kids from Stranger Things. Though it would be fun to see Ruffalo be cast in the show, I have a feeling he could be too busy working on the next two Avengers movies.

Just a weird pitch, but I think it would be fun to have Ron Perlman come in as Hopper's older brother. Both of them have the same-sounding voice, and it would be fun to see the old and new Hellboys being brothers in Stranger Things. Hopefully people don't think it's too on the nose (which it probably is).

As of now, we don't have a clue when we're going to meet this Hank Hopper, but I have a feeling that he'll have something to say when he finds out his brother has adopted a powerful telekinetic as his daughter. What if he ends up dating Grace Byers?

For now, you can catch Stranger Things 2 on Netflix.
