Stranger Things 4 Star Noah Schnapp is Not a Fan of Will's Bowl Haircut

After months of anticipation, Stranger Things Season 4 is finally streaming on Netflix. The critically-acclaimed series follows the Hawkins crew and their horrifying dive into the Upside Down while also going against the show’s latest spine-chilling villain, Vecna.

Aside from the plot revolving around the eerie dimension and the terrifying villain, the series also intends to serve as the endgame of each core character’s arc, including Noah Schnapp's Will Byers, who has been in the middle of tragic paranormal occurrences after being kidnapped by a Demogorgon on the first season. Aside from the tragic character arc, it appears that there’s another thing that Schnapp isn’t apparently fond of.

Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp recently opened up about his efforts to change Will Byer's haircut in the series. Sadly, the weird 80's haircut is still there to stay as seen in Season 4's Volume 1.

"I've talked to them so many times like, 'Hey, are we thinking about a new cut for Will?'" Schnapp told Insider. "There's one more season left, but they're pretty loyal to that cut. I think it is a true kind of '80s classic haircut. So I don't think we're gonna lose it anytime soon."

Schnapp added, "That's what they say, but then I talked to my parents and they lived in the '80s. They said they weren't 16 with that haircut, so I don't know."

Gladly, it looks like Schnapp fully committed to the haircut and even poked fun at it. "You know what's funny: I just saw a TikTok on my 'for you page' today and it was this guy being like, 'Noah Schnapp yelling at the Duffers to change the season four haircut,' and it was someone screaming," Schnapp said. "I reposted it because I thought it was so funny."

Well, that's a clear indication that Schnapp doesn't really like his character's haircut. Although all the youngster cast also maintained their remembered haircut from season one, like Dustin's weird curly hair and Steve's long and thick hair, it seems that Schnapp felt somehow unlucky getting the weird bowl cut.

Nevertheless, good for Schnapp, because he definitely still rocked the bowl cut throughout the entire show and it's certain that this weird haircut will remain Will's trademark, especially now that the series is nearly approaching its monumental conclusion.

Stranger Things 4 Volume 1 is now available to stream on Netflix, while Volume 2 arrives on July 1.
