Wait till Kylo Ren hears about this. Several Star Wars memorabilia have reportedly been stolen from Bad Robots Productions and one of the stolen items just happens to be a Darth Vader helmet.
According to TMZ, a 38-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly broke into the Bad Robot Productions building in Santa Monica, California.
The man had broken into the building and left with several Star Wars memorabilia that included a Stormtrooper helmet and a Darth Vader helmet. Luckily, the police didn't have difficulty finding the suspect. After all, it's pretty hard to miss a man pushing a shopping cart filled with Star Wars items near the Bad Robot headquarters.
Surveillance footage confirmed that the man broke in and left with the items so he was immediately arrested. All the Star Wars booty were then returned to Bad Robot without any damages.
It was unclear whether the Vader helmet was a prop from the sequel trilogy films that Kylo Ren had in his quarters or one of the older models used in the original Star Wars movies. Nevertheless, it is good to know that the helmet, as well as the other items, were not damaged.
Interestingly, the incident happened a day after it was confirmed that original Vader actor David Prowse passed away at the age of 84. Prowse first played Vader in A New Hope.
