Steve Carell Teaming Up with ‘The Office’ Creators for Netflix Show Based on Trump’s Space Force

Donald Trump had bewildered a lot of people when he claimed that he would be developing a ‘Space Force' for the military, and it looks like the concept has become the premise of an upcoming Netflix show. Check out the teaser for Space Force.

What's cool is, the show comes from Greg Daniels the creator of the US version of The Office. Office fans will be familiar with Steve Carell, who had famously played dimwit boss Michael Scott. Carell is going to be starring in Space Force and is even credited as a co-creator.

With The Office being one of the biggest hits on Netflix, Space Force is sure to draw a massive audience. The trailer doesn't really give us anything from the show, but I would be happy to see another mockumentary following a group of workers trying to find out how to build a military branch for space. Either way, I'm sure Daniels and Carell have something very interesting to put out.

Personally, I've been kind of bummed that Carell has only been working on serious movies lately, and I'm really happy to see him coming back to comedy. We don't really know how long this series is planning to go, but the premise is already so silly in itself that it has to be a hit.

Then again, maybe I just miss seeing Michael Scott do silly things.

No release date has been announced for Netflix's Space Force.
