Meet Code 8 Part II Actress Sarena Parmar

Sarena Parmar is a 37-year-old Canadian actress who graduated Valedictorian from Kelowna Secondary School (KSS) in Kelowna BC Canada in 2002.

Parmar is best known for her TV show roles as Chandra Mehta in How to Be Indie, Maddy in Nurses, Breann Chattopadhyay in Pretty Hard Cases, and Farrah Hassan in Degrassi: The Next Generation.

However, did you know she also had brief roles in the Disney channel flick Radio Rebel and the hit Canadian series Kim's Convenience?

Parmar happened to be Tara's (played by Debby Ryan) best friend, Audrey Sharma, who was the first to find out that Tara is the girl behind the relatable podcast.

As for Kim's Convenience, Parmar appeared as a brief minor character during season 1 episode 3 as Esi. At the time, she shared a piece of advice for Jung in trying to fix his friendship with Kimchee.

Apart from acting, Sarena Parmar also had her share in the writing world. Her first play, The Orchard (After Chekhov), was published under Canadian publisher JGS Books in 2020.

Meet Stephanie Kingston From Code 8 Part II

Stephanie Kingston (played by Sarena Parmar) is another minor character who briefly appears at the end of Code 8 Part II.

There's not much to tell about Stephanie other than being a mother who stumbles upon the news and is shocked to hear what the world has come to.

For those unaware, Code 8 Part II is the sequel to the 2019 flick. While Code 8 Part I spotlights more of Connor Reed (Robbie Amell) committing petty crimes using his powers, Part II tells the continuation of his story.

This time, after getting out of prison, the LCPD has changed society forever. By coming up with new nonlethal robot dogs to inject overdoses into people with powers, Connor is in danger.

Even more so when he has to take part in saving a 14-year-old Pav (Sirena Gulamgaus) escape the corrupt officers from tracking them down.

Code 8 Part II is available to stream on Netflix starting on February 28.
